This early exposure to different cultures and ways of life had a significant impact on her and influenced her love of travel and adventure, which is reflected in her work. She now writes under the pseudonym Juliana Garnett, focusing on the medieval era. Brown is a prolific writer who has written nearly 50 romance novels, many of which have been nominated for Romantic Times' Reviewer's Choice, Career Achievement Award for Love and Laughter, and Career Achievement Award for Adventure.\n \nIn addition to her writing, Brown is an experienced traveler who twice a year visits England to research her novels. She also includes Scotland in her travels, which she feels adds a new dimension to her work and enables her to more authentically impart the true flavor of the geographical and historical sites. Brown is a mother of four grown children and enjoys spending time with her three lovely grandchildren. She currently resides in Mississippi with a furry menagerie of dogs and cats at her feet while she writes what she loves best.
