Uvi Poznansky is a USA TODAY bestselling, award-winning author, poet, and artist. Born in Israel, she earned her BA in Architecture and Town Planning from the Technion in Haifa. After practicing with an innovative architectural firm and taking a major part in the large-scale project, Home for the Soldier, she moved to the United States with her husband and two children. There, she received a Fellowship grant and a Teaching Assistantship from the Architecture department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earning her M.A. in Architecture. She then pursued a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, working as an architect, software engineer, software team leader, software manager, and software consultant, with an emphasis on user interface for medical instruments devices.
Throughout her career, Poznansky has continually written and painted, exhibiting her work in Israel and California, and teaching art appreciation classes. Her body of work includes bronze and ceramic sculptures, oil and watercolor paintings, charcoal, pen and pencil drawings, and mixed media. In addition to her successful career as an author, she is a versatile artist, creating various forms of art that showcase her unique style and perspective.
Poznansky is the author of several series and books, including the Ash Suspense Thrillers with a Dash of Romance, which includes Coma Confidential, Virtually Lace, and Overdose. She has also written the Still Life with Memories series, a family saga with touches of romance, which includes My Own Voice, The White Piano, The Music of Us, Dancing with Air, and Marriage before Death. The series is available in bundles, with Apart from Love including volumes I and II, and Apart from War including volumes III-V. The David Chronicles, a historical fiction series with a modern twist, includes three novels and six art through the ages collections, describing each moment of the story. Her poetry book, Home, is a tribute to her father, and her collection of dark tales, Twisted, is a new age, biblically inspired book. She has also written and illustrated two children's books, Jess and Wiggle and Now I Am Paper, creating animation videos for each one.
