Terri L. Austin is a British author who has made a name for herself in the genres of comedic urban fantasy, contemporary romance, and humorous mysteries. As a child, Austin was enamored with the imaginary friends and made-up stories that she encountered in her reading and writing. Contrary to her expectations, her fascination with these characters and narratives only grew stronger with time, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in writing.
Austin's debut novel, "Diners, Dives, & Dead Ends," is the first book in the Rose Strickland Mystery series. The series' lead character, Rose, is a relatable and endearing figure, known for her loyalty, kindness, and sense of humor. Austin herself has been described as a lover of all things British, an avid reader, beader, mother, and writer. She currently resides in Independence, Missouri, with her real-life Prince Charming, who would make for an excellent cover model for one of her novels.

Austin also enjoys sharing her unique ability to bend spoons with her mind, although she advises against watching her fingers while she performs this feat.
