Tee Morris

‍Tee Morris is a well-established author, known for his imaginative stories that span various genres including fantasy, mystery, and steampunk. Growing up, he drew inspiration from Terry Brooks’ “Shannara” series and “Choose Your Own Adventure” books, which led him to create his own stories at a young age. Morris’s writing career took off in 2002 with his historical epic fantasy, MOREVI: The Chronicles of Rafe & Askana. His innovative spirit and dedication to his craft became evident when he podcasted MOREVI in its entirety in 2005, a groundbreaking move that established him as a pioneer in the social media movement.

Morris’s success in podcasting led him to co-found Podiobooks.com and collaborate on the popular title Podcasting for Dummies with Evo Terra. He has also written several other social media titles, such as Twitch for Dummies, Discord for Dummies, All a Twitter, and Sams Teach Yourself Twitter in 10 Minutes. In addition to his non-fiction works, Morris has contributed to various anthologies, including Farscape Forever: Sex, Drugs, and Killer Muppets, and So Say We All: Collected Thoughts and Opinions of Battlestar Galactica.

In 2011, Morris returned to his first love—fiction—with the steampunk romp Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences Novel, co-authored with Philippa Ballantine. This debut novel from Harper Voyager won the 2011 Airship Award for Best Steampunk Literature. The series includes The Janus Affair, Dawn's Early Light, and the Ministry Protocol anthology, which showcase Morris’s talent for blending genres and his commitment to creating engaging, immersive worlds. When he is not writing, Tee Morris enjoys life in Virginia with his family and their three cats.
