Summer Hanford

Summer Hanford is a historical romance novelist who was raised on a dairy farm in Upstate New York. Her love for writing began in her childhood and she later pursued this passion by earning a bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology and going on to do graduate and doctoral work in behavioral neurology. However, she eventually left her research career to focus on her writing ambitions.

Hanford is a versatile author who writes in three genres, including Epic Fantasy, Historical Romance, and Pride & Prejudice Variations. Her five-novel Young Adult fantasy series, Thrice Born, was published by Martin Sisters Publishing and is available wherever books are sold. In 2014, Hanford began collaborating with fan fiction author Renata McMann on her popular Pride and Prejudice variations, and since then, they have had over a dozen Amazon number one best sellers in various countries, including the US, several European and Latin American countries.

Hanford launched her Crown & Dagger Historical Romance Series in 2020 and her new Epic Fantasy Series, Rise of the Summer God, in 2021. Her Sweet Regency Romance Series, The Ellsworth Sisters Quartet, will conclude in 2022 and is available on Amazon. Aside from her Pride & Prejudice variations and illustrated Children's Books, Hanford also writes on her own. She currently resides in New York with her husband and their compulsory, deliberately spoiled, cats. The newest addition to their household is an energetic setter-shepherd mix who is still not yet appreciated by the cats but is well-loved by the humans.
