Beyond her writing, Bell is a dedicated parent to a couple of school-aged children. When she's not busy with her writing or helping her children with their homework, she can be found practicing modern dance in her kitchen, needle-pointing, swimming laps, hiking, or reading from her latest electronic collection.

Bell is a former journalist who brings her belief that everyone has a fascinating story to tell to her fiction writing. She can often be found in her small garret office, bringing the characters in her head to life while enjoying chocolate.
