Sarah Fine

Sarah Fine was born on the West Coast, specifically in California, but grew up in the Midwest. She has lived in various places including Maryland, Texas, and Toronto, Canada before her parents settled in Indiana. She now resides on the East Coast with her husband and two children, where she continues to write and work as a child psychologist. Fine earned her BA in Psychology from Hope College and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delaware. She also completed a Pediatric Psychology Internship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Postdoctoral Fellowship, specializing in early childhood, at Brown University School of Medicine.

Sarah Fine is the author of several books for teenagers, including the Of Metal and Wishes series, which was released by McElderry and Simon & Schuster. The series consists of two books, Of Metal and Wishes and Of Dreams and Rust. Fine is also the author of the Guards of the Shadowlands YA urban fantasy series, which was released by Skyscape and Amazon Children’s Publishers. In addition to her solo work, Fine is also the co-author with Walter Jury of two YA thrillers.
