Ronald Malfi is a bestselling and award-winning author, who has made a name for himself in the horror, mystery, and thriller genres. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1977, Malfi is the eldest of four children and later moved to Maryland with his family. He is known for his dark fiction with a haunting, literary style and memorable characters. Malfi has received numerous accolades for his work, including two Independent Publisher Book Awards, the Beverly Hills Book Award, the Vincent Preis Horror Award, and the Benjamin Franklin Award for Popular Fiction.

Among his most popular works is December Park, a coming-of-age thriller set in the '90s, which has been optioned several times for film and was awarded the Beverly Hills International Book Award for best suspense novel in 2015.
