Reece Hirsch

Reece Hirsch is a successful author of thriller novels, drawing upon his background as a privacy attorney to infuse his writing with realism and depth. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and received his education from reputable institutions, earning a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Northwestern University and a law degree from the University of Southern California.

After completing his education, Hirsch worked as a journalist in Atlanta for several years, including a stint as an assistant editor of a business magazine. He also published and edited an entertainments and arts magazine in Atlanta. These experiences in journalism and publishing provided Hirsch with a strong foundation in writing and editing, which would later serve him well in his career as an author.

Hirsch has written six thriller novels, with his debut novel "The Insider" being a finalist for the International Thriller Writers Award for Best First Novel. His subsequent books, "The Adversary," "Intrusion," and "Surveillance," feature former Department of Justice cybercrimes prosecutor Chris Bruen as the protagonist. More recently, Hirsch has introduced a new protagonist in his novels "Black Nowhere" and "Dark Tomorrow" - FBI cybercrime investigator Lisa Tanchik. In addition to his successful writing career, Hirsch is also a partner in the San Francisco office of an international law firm and co-chair of its privacy and cybersecurity practice.
