Pauline Rowson

Pauline Rowson is a highly regarded English novelist, renowned for her crime fiction and marine mystery novels. Born in England, Rowson has a deep love for the sea, which is evident in her unique sub-genre of marine mysteries. She has written twenty-four novels, including fifteen featuring the troubled and rugged Portsmouth detective, Inspector Andy Horton.

Before becoming a full-time author, Rowson worked as a marketing and training guru, publishing several "how to" business books. She is also the founder of CSI Portsmouth, an annual event that is part of the Portsmouth Bookfest, and a member of the Crime Writer's Association and the Society of Authors. Rowson's writing is influenced by her love for adventure, heroes, and mystery, which is reflected in her popular "Andy Horton" series.

In addition to the "Andy Horton" series, Rowson has written four novels in the mystery thriller series featuring Art Marvik, a troubled former Royal Marine Commando now an undercover investigator for the UK's Police National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS). She has also written three 1950 set mystery series featuring Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Alun Ryga, who is sent out to solve baffling coastal crimes.
