Nicole Helm

Nicole Helm is a successful American author, well-known for her romantic suspense and contemporary romance novels. Born and raised in the Midwest, she has a deep appreciation for wide-open spaces and the stalwart spirit required to live in such areas. This love for the rural landscape often finds its way into her writing, as many of her characters inhabit similar settings.

Helm grew up with a love for reading and a dream of becoming an author. However, it wasn't until after she had spent several years in various careers and started a family that she decided to pursue writing professionally. In 2014, she wrote her debut novel, and since then, she has gone on to write over 75 books, many of which have become national bestsellers and have received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly. Her Intrigues are particularly popular and often land on the Publishers Weekly Bestseller list.

In addition to her solo work, Helm also writes with Megan Crane/Caitlin Crews as Hazel Beck, and their Witchlore series began with SMALL TOWN, BIG MAGIC in 2022. Her writing is known for its emotional depth, down-to-earth characters, and happy endings. When she's not writing, Helm enjoys spending time with her family, doing genealogy research, watching Cardinals baseball, and hiking in nature. She currently resides in O’Fallon, Missouri, with her husband and two children.
