Interestingly, Webb's professional background is not in writing but in the field of science, specifically at NASA where he is employed to build spaceships. Writing, particularly science fiction stories about starships, is his secondary profession, which he pursues in his spare time.

Webb's journey into writing began in 2014 when he wrote and published his first novel, The Terran Gambit, under the pseudonym Endi Webb. The novel was a massive success, with the ebook version being downloaded nearly 100,000 times worldwide.
