Neal Wooten

Neal Wooten was born and raised in Blake, Alabama, where he grew up on a pig farm in the northeast corner of the state on Sand Mountain. Despite being forcefully relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin during his youth, he has now returned to his roots in northeast Alabama. Wooten is a man of many talents, having established himself as a columnist, artist, standup comedian, and author.

Wooten has built a successful career as an author, particularly in the young adult fiction genre. He has written around ten books, with his most famous work being "The Balance and Reternity." His writing career took off in 2011, and he consistently published novels until 2015. Many of his novels are set in a sci-fi background, and he has won eight national awards for his work, including being named to Kirkus Reviews Best of 2011.

Wooten is also the Managing Director of his self-owned publishing house, Mirror Publishing, which he founded in 2007. In addition to his work as a novelist and publisher, he is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post and writes columns for daily newspapers such as The Mountain Valley News and The Indie Times. He also serves as an Op-Ed writer for The Walking Dead Fan Club. Wooten is also known for creating the popular comic strip "Brad's Pit" and his contributions to theater as an artist and stand-up comedian.
