Naomi Kritzer is a highly regarded American author, well-known for her work in the science fiction and speculative fiction genres. She has been writing for over two decades and has produced a substantial body of work during that time. Kritzer's bibliography includes several series, such as "Eliana's Song" and "CatNet," as well as standalone novels and short story collections.

Kritzer's love for science fiction began at a young age when she was introduced to the Star Wars movies. She quickly became hooked on the genre and spent much of her childhood reading and learning about it. Her passion for science fiction was further fueled when she discovered the works of Madeline L'Engle, particularly "A Wrinkle in Time," which inspired her to start writing her own stories. However, it wasn't until after she had finished college and become a mother that Kritzer began to pursue writing as a full-time career.

Kritzer's short story "Cat Pictures Please" was published in 2015 and went on to win both the Locus and Hugo Awards, as well as making the finals of the Nebula Award. The story showcases Kritzer's ability to craft engaging and thought-provoking narratives that explore complex themes and ideas. With her unique voice and perspective, Kritzer has become a respected and beloved figure in the science fiction and speculative fiction communities.
