Besides writing under the name Miranda James, Dean James has also published books under the names Jimmie Ruth Evans and Honor Hartman. James has been writing since he was 12 years old, when he wrote a mystery novel called "The Mystery of the Willow Key," which was inspired by Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden.
