Marie Ferrarella

Marie Ferrarella is a highly respected author from America, known for her prolific work in the romance, contemporary, and fiction genres. She has written an impressive number of novels, with more than 272 to her name, and many of these have been translated into over 7 foreign languages, making her work accessible to readers all over the world. In addition to writing under her own name, Ferrarella also uses a few other pen names, including Marie Nicole, Marie Charles, and Marie Michael.

Born on March 28 in West Germany to Polish parents, Ferrarella moved to the United States with her family at the age of 4. They spent a year exploring the eastern half of the country before settling in New York. From a young age, Ferrarella was drawn to writing and would often be found tucked away in private places, writing at a furious pace. She wrote her first romance novel when she was just 11 years old, although she didn't realize at the time that it was a romance. Ferrarella went on to study at Queens College in New York, where she obtained her Master's degree in Shakespearean comedy.

Ferrarella's writing career took off in 1981, when she sold her first romance novel. Since then, she has written over 130 books and has won numerous awards for her work. In 1992, she won a RITA Award from the RWA in the category of the best traditional novel, and she has also been named a career Achievement Winner by the Romantic Times. Ferrarella currently lives in Southern California with her husband and a couple of children. In addition to writing, she enjoys listening to music, watching old movies, and reading mystery novels.
