Maggie Knox is the pseudonym of the writing duo consisting of Marissa Stapley and Karma Brown. Together, they have published two bestselling novels under this name. Their first novel, "The Holiday Swap," was released in 2021 and quickly became a hit. The following year, they published "All I Want for Christmas," which also became a bestseller.
Marissa Stapley and Karma Brown are both accomplished writers in their own right. Stapley is a former magazine editor and the internationally bestselling author of four novels: "Mating For Life," "Things to Do When It's Raining," "The Last Resort," and "Lucky." Her journalism has appeared in numerous publications across North America, including The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Elle, Today's Parent, and Reader's Digest. She currently resides in Toronto with her family and a precocious black cat named Oscar.
Karma Brown is an award-winning journalist and bestselling author of five novels, including the number one national bestseller "Recipe for a Perfect Wife." She has also written a nonfiction bestseller titled "The 4% Fix: How One Hour Can Change Your Life." Brown's writing has been featured in various publications such as Self, Redbook, Today's Parent, and Chatelaine. She lives just outside Toronto with her family and a labradoodle named Fred.
