Mackenzi Lee

Mackenzi Lee is a highly respected American author, best known for her work in historical fiction for children and young adults. She has written both fiction and non-fiction, and has established a strong reputation within the industry for her engaging stories and compelling characters. Her debut novel, This Monstrous Thing, was released to critical acclaim and she has since gone on to secure a contract with Marvel to write historical fiction books based on Marvel characters. The first of these, Loki: Where Mischief Lies, was released in 2019.

Lee has a deep passion for history, which is evident in her writing. She holds a BA in history and an MFA from Simmons College in writing for children and young adults. During her time at college, she took her own grand tour of Europe, further fueling her love for history and culture.
