Born in Texas, Liz grew up in a house filled with books, which sparked her lifelong love for stories. She pursued her passion for storytelling by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After moving to New York, Liz worked a series of jobs in the publishing industry before becoming a fiction editor, a role she has held for two decades.
