Linda Chaikin is a well-known American author, renowned for her historical fiction, Christian fiction, and romance novels. She has written an impressive number of book series, including the Royal Pavilion series, Heart of India series, Trade Winds series, Great Northwest series, Egypt series, East of the Sun series, Buccaneers series, and Day to Remember series. Chaikin has also published books under the pen name of L.L. Chaikin.
Born in 1943, Chaikin was the youngest of ten children in her family. Her father passed away shortly after her birth, which had a profound impact on the family. At the young age of 14, Chaikin wrote her first full-length book using pen and paper. This early work would later serve as the foundation for her successful novel, Wednesday's Child, which is part of the Day to Remember series.
In addition to her writing career, Chaikin is also a Christian fiction author. She and her husband, Steve, met in a Bible study and were married just six months later. Both Chaikin and her husband attended Multnomah School for the Bible, now known as Multnomah Bible College and Biblical Seminary in Portland, Oregon.
