Katrina Kahler is a contemporary fiction and children’s author, who has made a significant impact in the literary world. She is also known for her work as a phenomenal educator, which earned her a spot on the shortlist for the National Inspirational Teaching Award. For the most part, Kahler worked as a middle school teacher, an experience she describes as awesome. This role gave her a deep understanding of the challenges that children face, which she translates into her writing.\n \nTogether with her fellow former teachers, Kaz and Bill Campbell, Kahler has authored several books aimed at helping parents raise successful, confident, and happy children. She is a highly experienced parenting adviser, speaker, and school teacher who uses her passion to help children achieve their maximum potential personally, socially, and academically. Kahler's fiction works include the "Julia Jones' Diary" series, which includes the Amazon All-Star award-winning novel and bestselling series "Julia Jones – The Teenage Years." The book deals with emotional traumas that young girls have to deal with, including bullying, friendship, and relationship problems, teaching kids how to be more positive and confident. Kahler published her debut novel "My Worst Day Ever!" the first of the "Julia Jones' Diary" series in 1917.
Kahler is an ex-middle-grade schoolteacher who was nominated for a national inspirational teaching award. After many years in the classroom, she decided to leave the teaching profession and write books for kids instead. Along with co-author Karen Campbell, she has written several best sellers for tweens and young teens that are engaging and relatable and assist with the challenges middle schoolers often face. Their most popular series include TWINS, MIND READER, THE NEW GIRL, MEAN GIRLS, and WILD CHILD. As well as their many series for 9 to 13-year-olds, Kahler and Campbell have also created a collection of Early Readers for children aged from 2 to 6. Kahler's goal is to write stories that will inspire young readers and help them navigate their path through the trials of middle school. She currently resides in beautiful Noosa, Australia.
