Kate Ellis

Kate Ellis is a renowned author of crime fiction novels, born in Liverpool, England. She was captivated by the creative arts when she moved to Manchester, where she studied drama and worked as a teacher. However, it was not until she tried her hand at writing that she found her true calling. Ellis has since produced a number of best-reads and received several awards for her work.

Ellis's novels are characterized by her fascination with crime and mystery stories, as well as medieval history and archaeology. She is perhaps best known for her two series, the Wesley Peterson series and the Joe Plantagenet series. The Wesley Peterson series is set in the fictional English coastal town of Tradmouth and features a detective chief inspector named Wesley Peterson. On the other hand, the Joe Plantagenet series is set in the ancient city of York and features a former city policeman, Joe Plantagenet, who is now a detective chief inspector in the rural community of Eastvale.
