Jennifer Moore is a dedicated author and mother, currently residing in Bowling Green, Ohio. She lives with her husband and their four sons, a lively household that provides a constant source of laughter and laundry. Moore's personal experiences and responsibilities as a mother and wife often influence and inform her writing.
Moore was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She earned her BA in Linguistics from the University of Utah, which she sometimes utilizes while watching Jeopardy. Her interest in history and romance is also evident in her writing, as she often incorporates elements of these genres into her poetry. In addition to her creative pursuits, Moore is an associate professor of creative writing at Ohio Northern University.
As a published author, Moore has several notable works to her name. Her full-length poetry collections include "Easy Does It" (U of Akron Press, 2021) and "The Veronica Maneuver" (U of Akron Press, 2015). She has also published a chapbook titled "Smaller Ghosts" (Seven Kitchens Press, 2020). Moore's poetry has been featured in various esteemed literary journals, including "Crazyhorse," "DIAGRAM," "Best New Poets," "The Cincinnati Review," and more. Her work is widely recognized and respected within the literary community.
Despite her busy schedule, Moore finds time for her hobbies and interests. She enjoys traveling, watching tall ships, and indulging in scented candles.
