Jeffe Kennedy is a highly accomplished author, currently residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband, who is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, two Maine coon cats, and a number of free-range lizards. She has received numerous awards for her writing, including the Wyoming Arts Council Fellowship for Poetry, the Frank Nelson Doubleday Memorial Award, and a starred Library Journal review for her book, The Mark of the Tala. Kennedy's writing covers a wide range of genres, including non-fiction, romance, science fiction, and fantasy, and she has also written poetry and short fiction.
Kennedy's work has been featured in a number of publications, and she has authored several series, including The Twelve Kingdoms and The Uncharted Realms. The first book in The Twelve Kingdoms series, The Mark of the Tala, was nominated for the RT Book of the Year and received a starred Library Journal review. The sequel, The Tears of the Rose, received a Top Pick Gold and was nominated for the RT Reviewers’ Choice Best Fantasy Romance of 2014. In addition, Kennedy has written contemporary erotic romance series, such as Missed Connections, and a new fantasy romance series, The Forgotten Empires.
