Jayne Castle

Jayne Castle is the pen name of Jayne Ann Krentz, an American author well-known for her paranormal futuristic novels of romantic suspense. She was born in Cobb, California, and earned a B.A. in History from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Masters degree in Library Science from San Jose State University in California. Before becoming a full-time writer, Castle worked as a librarian in both academic and corporate libraries.

Jayne Castle is a pseudonym that Castle uses for her futuristic novels. Under this name, she has published the Futuristic World of St. Helen's series and the Guinevere Jones series. Her books are set in three different worlds, namely, contemporary, historical, and futuristic, and have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide. They have been translated into various foreign languages, earning her a large fanbase throughout the world.

In addition to Jayne Castle, Jayne Ann Krentz also uses other pseudonyms for her writing, including Jayne Ann Krentz, Amanda Quick, Stephanie James, Jayne Bentley, Jayne Taylor, and Amanda Glass. She has written over 50 New York Times bestsellers, covering a variety of genres such as science fiction & fantasy and romance. Castle is married and lives with her husband, Frank, in Seattle, Washington.
