Janet Chester Bly

Stephen and Janet Bly are a renowned husband and wife duo of American authors, celebrated for their work in Christian fiction, historical fiction, religion, and non-fiction. The pair has written numerous book series together, with Stephen being the more prolific author with over 100 books and numerous articles to his name. Janet, on the other hand, was Stephen's collaborator and often assisted him in the process of novel writing.

Janet Chester Bly is an accomplished author in her own right, having published 12 non-fiction and fiction books and co-authored 19 others with her late husband, Stephen Bly. After Stephen's passing, Janet and her three sons completed his final novel, Stuart Brannon's Final Shot, which was a Selah Award Finalist. Janet is currently working on several new projects, including The Reba Cahill Series, women's fiction novels set in 1991, a non-fiction book titled Finding Your Message For Your Own Personal World, and a re-release of Stephen Bly's first published book, Radical Discipleship.

Beyond her writing, Janet is an active member of her community in Winchester, Idaho, where she serves as the choir director at her local church, enjoys decorating her home, shopping for unique clothing, making holiday wreaths, and reading and reviewing inspirational fiction. She lives in a small town with an elevation of 4,200 feet, situated on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation and home to Winchester Lake State Park.
