James has always had a passion for stories and adventure. Growing up in Kent, he spent much of his childhood lost in books and daydreams. This love for reading and imagination followed him to university, where he attended Durham after his childhood in Kent.
A life-changing experience came when James volunteered for a Thai charity for children with disabilities in Bangkok after finishing his university studies. This experience had a profound impact on him and ultimately influenced his career path. He decided to train as a Primary school teacher, working in schools in London before getting married and moving back to Thailand for seven years.
While living in Thailand, James and his spouse adopted two children and he began writing "The Tales of Truth Treasure." After completing his book, the family moved back to the United Kingdom, where James worked in a Primary school and nursery setting as a teacher and Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-Ordinator. Currently, James resides in Somerset with his wife and three children, where he balances his time between writing, teaching, and being a devoted husband and father. Despite his many responsibilities, he still finds time for his favorite pastimes of reading and daydreaming.
