Giles Kristian

Giles Kristian is a highly respected English novelist, known for his historical fiction and action-adventure novels. He was born in Leicestershire, England and is of mixed English and Norwegian descent. Kristian's early career saw him as the lead singer of the boy band Upside Down in the 1990s, during which time he released four top 20 albums. Following this, he embarked on a solo career as a singer/songwriter, touring Europe for two years and releasing the album "I Just Wanna Know" in 2001. After his time in the music industry, Kristian worked as a copywriter in New York, writing copy for Empire Design.

Kristian's writing career began with the acclaimed and bestselling RAVEN Viking trilogy, which includes "Blood Eye," "Sons of Thunder," and "Odin’s Wolves." His next series of novels was inspired by his long-held fascination with the English Civil War, with "The Bleeding Land" and "Brothers’ Fury" telling the story of a family divided by the brutal conflict. In addition to his solo work, Kristian has also co-written the No.1 bestseller "Golden Lion" with Wilbur Smith. He has returned to the world of the Vikings in "God of Vengeance," "Winter’s Fire," and "Wings of the Storm," and has also explored the legend of King Arthur in "Lancelot" and "Camelot."
