George Galdorisi

George Galdorisi is a highly accomplished career naval aviator and author, with over thirty years of active duty service in the United States Navy. He has had a diverse and distinguished military career, including five years as a chief of staff of a carrier strike group, four command tours, and three years leading America's delegation for military talks with China's Navy. His rich military experience and expertise are reflected in his successful writing career.

Galdorisi's writing journey began in 1978 with an article published in US Naval Institute Proceedings. He has since written over 400 articles in professional journals and other media, as well as twelve books distributed by mainstream publishers. He is best known for his Rick Holden thriller series and his work on the Tom Clancy Presents series. His recent publications with Braveship Books, The Coronado Conspiracy and For Duty and Honor, have been well-received, adding to his growing list of successful thrillers.

In addition to his thrillers, Galdorisi has co-authored New York Times bestsellers, including Tom Clancy Presents: Act of Valor and several books in the rebooted Tom Clancy’s Op-Center series. He has also received numerous national and international writing awards, including the Navy League of the United States Alfred Thayer Mahan Award for Literary Achievement and the U.S. Naval Institute General Prize Essay Contest.

Currently, Galdorisi is the Director of Strategic Futures and Technical Assessments at the Navy's Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego, California.
