Erica Wright

Erica Wright is an accomplished American author, well-known for her crime fiction, thriller, and mystery novels. She has made a significant contribution to the literary world, particularly with her Kat Stone book series. Wright's debut novel, "The Red Chameleon," introduced the world to Kate Stone, the series' lead protagonist, in 2014. This novel was met with critical acclaim, earning the title of a "riveting novel" from many critics. Since then, Wright has continued to add to the series, with plans to release more titles in the future.

In addition to the Kat Stone series, Wright has also written standalone novels, poetry collections, and essays. Her poetry collections, "Instructions for Killing the Jackal" and "All the Bayou Stories End with Drowned," have been featured in various literary magazines and journals. Her latest crime novel, "Famous in Cedarville," received a starred review from Publishers Weekly. Moreover, her essay collection, "Snake," was recently released as part of Bloomsbury's Object Lessons series.

Beyond her writing, Wright has also held various editorial roles. She served as the poetry editor at Guernica Magazine for over a decade and was an editorial board member for Alice James Books. She currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her family, having grown up in Wartrace, Tennessee.
