Demelza Carlton is a USA Today bestselling author who hails from Australia. She has written more than 60 novels, which have collectively sold over two million copies around the world. Carlton has a particular fascination with the ocean, which is reflected in many of her works.

Despite her love for the ocean, Carlton admits to having been afraid of fish during her first snorkeling trip. However, this has not stopped her from diving into the deep and having extraordinary underwater experiences.
