Debra Holland

Debra Holland is a accomplished author with a diverse range of works to her name. She has written both fiction and nonfiction, with a focus on romance and self-help. Holland is a best-selling author, known for her nonfiction works as well as her fictional historical romance series.

In fiction, Holland is perhaps best known for her Montana Sky Series, which are sweet, historical Western romances. The second book in the series, Starry Montana Sky, was selected by Amazon as one of the 50 Greatest Love Stories. In addition to this series, she has also written a fantasy romance trilogy called The Gods’ Dream Trilogy. Her latest book is a holiday-themed addition to the Montana Sky Series, titled Painted Montana Sky Christmas.

In nonfiction, Holland has written a guide to grief and grieving called The Essential Guide to Grief and Grieving. She has also written a free ebooklet available on her website, titled 58 Tips for Getting What You Want From a Difficult Conversation. In addition to this, she has also contributed to The Naked Truth About Self-Publishing.

Holland is a three-time Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist and one-time winner. In 2013, Amazon selected Starry Montana Sky as one of the Top 50 Greatest Love Stories. When she’s not writing, Dr. Debra works as a psychotherapist and corporate crisis/grief counselor. She lives in Southern California with her cat, who keep her company while she writes.
