Daniel Goleman is an accomplished American author, psychologist, and science journalist, best known for his work in the fields of psychology, business, and self-help. Goleman spent twelve years reporting on the brain and behavioral sciences for The New York Times before publishing his groundbreaking debut book, Emotional Intelligence, in 1995. This book quickly became a New York Times bestseller and has since been translated into over 40 languages worldwide.
Emotional Intelligence transformed how people approach education, personal relationships, and business conduct. The Wall Street Journal recognized Goleman as one of the top 10 most influential business thinkers. His work has had a lasting impact, with Emotional Intelligence appearing on The New York Times bestsellers list for a year and a half and named as one of the 25 most influential business management books by TIME.
