Colin Conway is the creator of the 509 Crime Stories, a series of novels set in Eastern Washington, and the Cozy Up series, which challenges the conventions of the cozy mystery genre. According to Libby Klein, author of the Poppy McAllister series, "Cozy Up to Death" is "Not your grandma's cozy." Conway also co-authored the Charlie-316 series, which includes the political/crime thriller "Charlie-316," a novel that has been praised for its "riveting and compulsively readable" storytelling.
Before becoming a successful author, Colin Conway served in the U.S. Army and later became an officer with the Spokane Police Department. He has also owned a laundromat, invested in a bar, and operated a karate school. Currently, he works as a commercial real estate broker. Despite his many professional pursuits, Conway remains committed to writing crime fiction and creating engaging stories for his readers. He lives in Spokane with his girlfriend, three children, and a Vizsla that rules their household.
