Charli Jane Anders is an acclaimed American author, known for her science fiction and fantasy novels and stories. She was born in Connecticut and has since become a prominent figure in the literary world, earning numerous awards for her work. Anders is not only a novelist but also a short story writer, blogger, event organizer, essayist, emcee, juror, commentator, publisher, presenter, lobbyist, and performing artist. She currently resides in San Francisco, California, with her partner, Annalee Newitz.

Anders has won several prestigious awards for her writing, including the Nebula, Locus, and Crawford awards for her novel 'All the Birds in the Sky'.
