Cavan Scott

Cavan Scott is a successful author from the United Kingdom, known for his work in historical mystery, children’s fiction, horror, and science fiction. Scott started out writing for popular franchises such as “Vikings,” “Star Trek,” “Doctor Who,” “Warhammer 40,000,” and “Pacific Rim.” However, he is best known for his contributions to the “Star Wars” franchise, having made a name for himself writing bestselling comics and novels. Scott’s fascination with “Star Wars” began when he received his first “Star Wars” figure from his grandmother, which led him to discover “Star Wars Weekly.” By the time he watched “Empire Strikes Back” in the cinema, he was hooked. Scott’s talent for writing “Star Wars” material was recognized after he had established himself as a comic book and novel writer, and he was asked to audition for “Star Wars Adventures in Wild Space,” which he got.

Before becoming an author, Scott worked as a magazine editor in the UK. He now lives in Bristol with his wife and daughters.
