Brian Kilmeade

Brian Kilmeade is a well-known personality in the world of television, radio, and print. He was born in New York and attended Long Island University. Kilmeade is currently a cohost of FOX & Friends, the number one rated morning program on cable television for the past nine years. In this role, he shares his unique perspective on the daily news and has interviewed many prominent figures in politics, sports, and entertainment, often securing exclusive content. Kilmeade has been instrumental in FOX's coverage of major events, including September 11th, war zones in the middle east, and numerous military bases across the country. He has also contributed to the network's coverage of both the Democratic and Republican Party Conventions.

In addition to his work on FOX & Friends, Kilmeade is the host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show on FOX News Radio, Kilmeade & Friends. The show is heard on 80 stations, as well as XM and Sirius Satellite Radio. Kilmeade is also a published author of fiction and has written several non-fiction books, including "The Games Do Count: America’s Best & Brightest On The Power Of Sports" and "It’s How You Play the Game: The Powerful Sports Moments That Taught Lasting Values to America’s Finest". His books have been well-received, with Sports Illustrated saying that "It’s How You Play the Game" taught them more about some of their favorite leaders than any profile of them they had ever read.

Before joining FOX News Channel, Kilmeade served as a freelance sports anchor for NBC in Hartford, as well as a sideline reporter for the MSG Network. He also worked as a feature reporter and anchor for Newsport TV, where he hosted Newsport Journal, a daily magazine show for the national sports network. Kilmeade's career in journalism began as a correspondent on Channel One, a daily national high school television news program. He also spent ten years as a stand-up comedian. Kilmeade lives in Massapequa with his family, where he still coaches soccer.
