Adrian d'Hagé

Adrian d'Hage is a renowned Australian author, best known for his thriller books and the Curtis O’Connor series. He was born and raised in Australia, where he attended the North Sydney Boys High School. After completing his high school education, he went on to attend the Royal Military College Duntroon, where he studied Applied Science.

D'Hage's military career was marked by numerous achievements and accolades. He served as a platoon commander in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Military Cross for his service. Throughout his military career, he held various commanding positions, including command of an infantry battalion, Director of Joint Operations, and Head of Defence Public Relations. In 1994, he was made a Member of the Order of Australia. In 2000, D'Hage retired from the military to pursue a career in writing, moving to Italy to complete his first novel, The Omega Scroll.

In addition to his writing career, D'Hage holds an honors degree in Theology, and he has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology or wine chemistry at Charles Sturt University. He has also successfully sat the Austrian Government exams for ski instructor. Currently, D'Hage is a research scholar and tutor at the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies (Middle East and Central Asia) at ANU, where he is pursuing a doctorate on the Influence of Religion on US Foreign Policy in the Middle East. His doctorate reflects his ongoing interest in the intersection of religion, politics, and culture, which has been a recurring theme in his writing.
